A member of theyouth movement "Hashomer Hatzair" in Tel Aviv. a member of the sea company of "Hapoel" Tel Aviv. lived in Kibbutz Sa'ar from 1956 until 1988. for the first 7 years I worked in the sea fishing business of the kibbutz, after that I was a farmer, a mechanic, a treasurer, and worked in the industrial branch in various managerial duties. I've been a self taught photographer since late 50's. unfortunately I never got to study it, so all I have to offer is a pure autodidaction.
My Main photographic areas of interest are Nature, sites and view (including in and out of Israel), However, in my archive you can find lots of photographs of different topics too. 1962 – My first exhibition – Nature pictures, Black & white only, "between light & shadow" was displayed at the Gaaton Regional Council house and in the Kibbutzim around. 1968 – "The 6 days war" exhibition, pictures from the battle field. I also participated in lots of other exhibition about the 6 days war and my photos appeared in many war albums and won many prizes. 1980 – "Down under Tel Aviv" – photo exhibition that showed the crumbling Of the "Neve Tzedek" neighborhood, that was displayed in a variety of places in Tel Aviv. 1989-1992 – two individual exhibitions in the Nahariya's culture hall. Also a joint exhibition of four photographers that was displayed in the city hall, on a verity of subjects. 2004 – I learned the "power point" technique, and started making presentations and sending them through the internet. My distribution list grow within few month from around 30 to over 200, and the verity of presentations is growing continuously. I also give evenings of "slid show" presentations on subjects like Nature, Archeology and sites in Israel and around the world, Based on my slides archive of around 25000. In 2005 I replaced all my photographequipment and started working with a digital camera
